Hello there, I’m a reserved senior lady again looking for a furever home and finally a peaceful retirement lifestyle.

Life has dealt me A LOT of ups and downs in recent years. My original owner had to give me up when it was time for them to move to a nursing home. Not an easy thing to cope with but whenever there is a ‘down’ the only way is ‘up’ and life gave me a second chance when a new human picked me to be their girl.

Life was good but again it threw another curve ball, when my next owner died. Luckily a friendly neighbour brought me back to the safety of APS but I was distraught. For a couple of weeks I withdrew from everyone and everything around me. Finally, with the persistence of some very dedicated humans at the shelter, I started to settle into my new transient home.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t third time lucky… within a year of being adopted I am back at APS, as again my owner has gone into a nursing home.

Volunteers here have spent time talking to me, getting to know me again and trying to gain my currently shattered confidence. Its always a slow process but I am so glad of their patience in me. I’m finally feel hope and ready to meet my new furever human, wherever they may be.

I’m hoping for a quiet home, one where I can maybe keep you company all day long. I dream of snuggling up next to you on the couch or maybe sitting in a sunny position on the windowsill, watching the world go by! I want this to be the purrfect retirement home, one where I can be cosy and warm, have my favourite foods and just relax and be at one with life, finally. If you think that special human could be you, I’m waiting to meet you at APS today.
