Hey I’m Dougie and I am looking for a special furever home. When I first came to APS, I was a scrawny, underweight boy who hadn’t been looked after very well. I would look directly up at my rescuers face and they knew I was thanking them for giving me a chance and showing me what love feels like. I love to press my snoot into your hands or against you and just plead for all the loving! With humans, I am lovely and affectionate however unfortunately I reeeaally hate other dogs. I am looking for a home with an experienced owner who can keep me safe at all times, far away from other animals. I need a very secure yard to keep me safe and a lot of mental stimulation to help calm me down.
Here’s what I need!
- Experienced/confident owner
- NO ANIMALS
- No small children
- Ongoing training
- Must be kept away from dogs whilst walking and can never be let off lead
- Consultation with our behaviourist prior to adoption
