HEY THERE! My name is Dotty, also known as Dotty Dawg or Dotty the Daffy. I am a cute little thing, the APS angels call me a “Staschund”, a mix of Staffy and Dachshund… can I get any cuter? I don’t think so! I was roaming the streets all alone for weeks, Rangers couldn’t catch me – I was in flight mode and wouldn’t let anyone near me. Along came a lovely lady who spent 2 hours bribing me with fresh, hot chicken. I finally let her hold me and from that moment, I just knew everything was going to be OK. I was very nervous when I first came in the care of the APS, it only took me a couple of days to realise that I have these humans wrapped around my little paw! I have come right out of my shell and I am loving all the attention I am receiving. I am only young and quite a cheeky little thing, I love running around and playing with people, I also don’t mind having another dog to play with. I do have the tendency to protect MY toys and food, because of this I would be better off in a home without small children. I’m open to sharing my home with another dog however I will need to learn to share. If you come in to meet me, you will instantly fall in love with my huge character and cheeky personality.
