Male, DMH Ginger and white, DOB 25/11/17
Hi there! My name is Barbossa! I have had a bit of a rough time lately. I was handed into a vet clinic because I was hanging around and did not seem to have a home. The kind people at the vet clinic noticed that I had a problem walking so they took an x ray of my back legs and found that I had a very badly broken right hind leg.
I am so glad that APS said that they would take me on. After lots of discussion and the input of numerous vets, it was decided that an amputation would be the best. I really don’t mind because they have told me that I will be able to get around just fine and that because I am a total smooch, I will find a new home really quickly.
I had my surgery on Wednesday and so far I am feeling pretty good. Very soon I will be on the look out for one of those furever homes. If you might be interested in meeting me you can email cats@apswa.asn.au
