APS are seeking a very special foster home for Gaston. Since arriving at APS at the end of August, it is safe to say that this boof head has stolen the hearts of everyone who meets him. Gaston came to us from a local pound. He was not sterilised or chipped but he was full of old fight wounds. Not surprisingly he tested positive to FIV. Gaston had also had a lot of his teeth rot and fall out (and has had some more removed by our vets). He is also diabetic.
Gaston is a huge smooch and very gentle. His favourite thing is a belly rubs. Gaston will need to be an only cat or with other FIV cats, he needs to be kept indoors and will need his blood sugar level monitored and insulin given when it is too high.
APS will provide support and help with his care. If you think you might be interested please come down to meet him – although he will insist on a belly rub.
